Hi, my name is Missy Lofton. I became involved in embroidery in 2006, after purchasing an inexpensive sewing machine with an embroidery attachment just for fun. I immediately became intrigued by the digitizing process, and dove into reading everything I could get my hands on concerning the topic. As I progressed, I soon realized I needed better software and a commercial machine. Needless to say, monogramming projects came out of the woodworks, and a small business was born! Over the next few years, my business projects turned more and more to commercial and team embroidery, with me digitizing all of my customers' logos, and then for a few other embroiderers as well. Over time, I found myself doing more digitizing than anything else, but since I enjoy the process so much, I decided to do something crazy -- close a successful monogramming/commercial embroidery business after ten years and begin making my own designs to sell to other embroiderers; hence, the birth of Wicked Stitches of the South! I also create designs in rhinestones, heat-transfer vinyl, and surface vinyl, and am slowly adding designs for those materials as well. I'm excited to hurl myself into this journey, and I hope you will enjoy stitching my designs as much as I have enjoyed creating them!
